Oasis @ Vivid Sydney

Oasis pays homage to the memory of the ‘forgotten’ Australian children who grew up in care; in orphanages, children’s homes, foster care and institutions. The installation creates a sea of lights that dance on and around water. It is positioned in a corner of the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney dedicated to the memory of “lonely, frightened, lost and abused children who never knew the joy of a loving family” James Feng Design_Sydney Freelance Designer

Microscopic Wonder

Referencing spatial conditions of naturally occurring spatial artifacts such as caverns, waterfalls, caves and canyons, this natural science museum is a space of discovery. The vertical layering of spatial conditions construct a type of exaggerated enclosure and immersion common in an insects world. This is a journey of compression and expansion, or day and night, of dry and wet, climate and atmosphere. James Feng Design_Sydney Freelance Designer
